About Rigii
The RIGII Children Foundation was officially registered in 2009 by Janet Eikelenboom.
Her brother died thirteen years ago. He has left three children behind. Janet has taken care of and supported these children. With that in mind, she also wanted to help other children in Kenya. Coming from Kenya herself, she knows what the living conditions in the country are like.
The children who help Janet and the employees of the RIGII Children Foundation in Kenya no longer have parents. Their parents died due to the effects of HIV / AIDS. The children live with their grandmothers, who cannot offer the children everything they need such as payment of school fees and school uniforms.
The school where the children attend is the Kiriko Primary School in Kinari. Janet has a contact person (Paul) at this school who among other things ensures that all children actually go to school.
The RIGII Children Foundation does not only focus on helping children. She also helps the grandmothers who take care of the children, the school and in this way the entire community. In this way, a better life is structurally built.
The foundation is completely dependent on donations from private individuals or companies, but also on the sales of Kenyan products on various fairs by Janet himself.
With donations you can think of financial support, but also old computers or printers, pens, booklets etc .. Unfortunately we cannot use defective computers and printers.
